Wrapping technologies that optimizes load stability while helping to reduce costs
Visit us at FachPack in Nuremberg from 24-26 September booth 4A-400.
Denmark (September 18, 2019) ― Lachenmeier ApS of Denmark, Oy M. Haloila Ab of Finland and H. Böhl of Germany, all part of the Signode Industrial Group, will join forces to demonstrate the synergistic benefits of their industry-leading stretch hood and stretch wrapping technologies on booth 4A-400 at FachPack, 24-26 September in Nuremberg, Germany. Jointly, the companies will present a unique portfolio of stretch hood and vertical and horizontal stretch wrapping technologies that can optimize the stability of standardized and non-standardized loads while helping to reduce costs.
At FachPack our three companies will exhibit together in one booth at a leading trade exhibition and we’re excited about the opportunities this presents,” said Alice Holm Kristensen, marketing manager, Lachenmeier ApS. “
Our combined services are literally stretching load protection both globally and dimensionally. Globally, in terms of our worldwide presence. Dimensionally because we’re adding new dimensions to the traditional approach of stretch hood and horizontal and vertical stretch wrapping by offering differentiated technologies and creative solutions for tomorrows challenges to meet load stability needs. Visitors can find all their load protection needs in the booth, from innovative semi-automatic to fully automatic equipment technologies to associated leading edge films. It really will be a ‘one-stop-shop’ for wrapping technology.”
Lachenmeier will run live demonstrations of its Multi FleX1 stretch hood pallet wrapping machine during the course of the show. The Multi FleX1 is capable of wrapping at very high speeds of up to 250+ loads per hour and offers the flexibility to run various load dimensions with only one film size. Additionally, several film rolls can be installed that wrap multiple load sizes with greater variations in size on the fly. The stretch hood film used is fully recyclable film. The machine delivers solutions with speed and efficiency but at the same time reducing the environmental impact. The machine has been reduced in size and weight compared to previous modules, electricity and air consumption has been reduced and the wrapping results can be achieved with less film consumptions.
Haloila is presenting a fully automatic Octopus 1845S stretch wrapping equipment machine which is designed for high-performance and optimized life cycles. Haloila is also presenting an Automatic Corner Post Device that improves protections of vulnerably corners on pallets. The Octopus is equipped with new integrated Top Sheet Device and a next level S-type film carriage providing power prestretch up to 400% using Haloila’s patented technology. The used stretch film is manufactured by Mima Films and made of 100% virgin resin and it is 100% recyclable. By new features in HMI and unlimited optimized product specified wrapping programs it’s possible to reduce both film and energy consumption. During live demonstrations the machine will wrap various products.
Böhl will display a fully automatic horizontal Senior-S-2000-VA Orbital stretch wrapping machine for all kind of profiles and long products with high production capacity. The benefits contain extremely low cost of consumables due to electrical power pre stretch system and 97% less energy consumption than a shrink tunnel. All at a low operating noise level. H. Böhl machines run for decades with nearly no spare parts needed. H. Böhl machines will run live demonstrations with sandwich panels.
“Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss their load stability and pallet safety needs with our experts to help them find the right solution,” said Kristensen. “Warehouse and logistics service providers will find automated load protection solutions that deliver lower material and packaging costs with associated sustainability benefits. And, plant and logistics managers will discover solutions that provide increased throughput and productivity, better load protection for less damage, lower costs through waste reduction, while requiring less labor. There literally is something for everyone, whatever the application.”
