Case Story Mars Food Europe

When early in 2017 Mars Food Europe contacted Haloila, the company was looking for a totally new packaging philosophy for securing their products during transport.
Mars Food Europe produces and transports food, e.g. pasta sauce, in glass jars – durable and hygienic food containers. As these can be sensitive to transport damage, Mars was especially looking for a cost-effective solution to improve pallet load stability.
End of 2017, an Octopus 2340T, a twin head high capacity stretch wrapper, was installed at their factory in the Netherlands. The Haloila Octopus stretch wrapping machine offers a number of features to provide an optimized transport solution while realizing savings on film cost.
After almost 11 months of operations we went back to the factory to get a better understanding of their experiences with the equipment.
